The EVA electric-taxi concept was conceptualised as a platform to showcase
the innovations and developments at TUM CREATE. Key features of this e-taxi
include a super-fast charging system, individualised overhead air-conditioning,
interactive infotainment system and innovative passenger seats. EVA can
be charged in 15 minutes and be driven for 200 km with the air-conditioner
switched on – based on the driving patterns of Singaporean taxis collected
by TUM CREATE.

vehicles and the infrastructure that supports it. We are determined to
build a sustainable future that will continue to drive human progress by
seeking tomorrow’s answers today. The EVA concept was conceptualised as
a platform to showcase the innovations and developments at TUM CREATE,
where over 100 scientists and engineers from over 20 countries undertake
cutting edge research. The electric taxi was developed and built from the
ground up in Singapore — a feat in itself because of the country’s small
